We believe the best return is the one that's never needed. That's why we provide honest photography, realistic descriptions and personally test a sample from every collection before it's released.
At Your Hair Edit, we want you to shop with confidence.
Every wig sold by Your Hair Edit has been thoroughly inspected twice before being shipped to you. We take great care to describe every wig honestly, photograph colours as accurately as possible and provide realistic information about cap construction, density and fit.
We hope you'll love your purchase, but if there's a genuine problem, we'll always do our best to put it right.
Returning Your Order
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your wig must be:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Unaltered
- In its original condition
- Returned with all original tags attached
- Returned in its original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Once your return request has been approved, we'll provide full instructions and the appropriate return address.
Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Hygiene
Because wigs are personal items, hygiene is extremely important.
Unless a wig is faulty or your statutory rights apply, we cannot accept returns if it has been:
- Worn
- Washed
- Hair and / or lace cut or trimmed
- Coloured or chemically treated
- Styled in a way that alters its original condition
- Damaged after delivery
We appreciate your understanding, as these measures help protect all of our customers.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your wig is damaged, faulty or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at andrea@yourhairedit.co.uk.
Where possible, please include photographs of the issue so we can assess the situation quickly and arrange the most appropriate solution.
Custom Orders
Custom-made, personalised or specially commissioned wigs are created specifically for you and cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty or do not comply with your statutory rights.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange your wig for a different colour or style, the quickest option is usually to return your eligible item and place a new order once your return has been approved.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we'll inspect it and notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 working days for your bank or card provider to process the refund once it has been issued.

Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
